Hua Jianghu: Bei Mo Ting

Hua Jianghu: Bei Mo Ting is an original net animation series produced by the Chinese studio Rocen, part of the broader Hua Jianghu (Painting Rivers and Lakes) franchise. Launched as a narrative extension within this established universe, the series focuses on the complex martial arts world and historical drama tropes that define the studio's portfolio. Its development follows the production standards of contemporary Chinese 3D animation, which prioritizes intricate character modeling and fluid choreography to appeal to a digitally native audience accustomed to high-fidelity motion capture.

The series design is credited to the Rocen creative team, who sought to refine the stylistic identity established in earlier entries of the franchise. By focusing on atmospheric lighting and distinct character silhouettes, the designers aimed to elevate the visual storytelling of the wuxia genre. Upon its release, the work was received as a standard contribution to the ongoing saga, noted primarily by established fans of the studio for its thematic consistency and commitment to the established aesthetic language of the series.
