A recent uptick in civilian riots and crimes has been observed across the country following the conclusion of the second Division Rap Battle. To make matters more chaotic, the individuals perpetrating the crimes have no recollection of the incidents nor any reason to be committing them in the first place. Suspecting these events to be linked to the effect of the Hypnosis Microphones, the governing Party of Words begins investigating the whereabouts of the mastermind behind them.
These cases have been more frequent in the six divisions, and their respective leaders are scrambling to find a way to prevent further havoc. But when the culprit pulling the strings threatens their territories with more calamity, the six leaders must put aside their personal differences and work together to stop this mayhem.

Where it came from
Hypnosismic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima PLUS serves as the second season of the multimedia franchise created by King Records. Released in 2023, the series shifted production from A-1 Pictures to A-1 Pictures under new creative leadership, aiming to further expand the lore of the Chuo Ward and the rap battles between the various divisions. It continues the narrative premise established in the first season, where spoken words—specifically through the use of Hypnosis Microphones—physically impact the human spirit.
The animation style and character designs for the Rhyme Anima project were crafted to translate the distinct visual language of the manga and audio drama iterations into a motion-heavy broadcast format. The series was designed to emphasize the high-energy musical performances that define the brand, relying on stylized choreography and vibrant color palettes to differentiate each division. Upon its release, it was received as a direct continuation for the established fanbase, focusing on deepening the interconnected character arcs of the franchise's expansive cast.
