Ikkitousen: XTREME XECUTOR - Yume Rokkei

Ikkitousen: XTREME XECUTOR - Yume Rokkei was released in 2010 as a series of special bonus episodes bundled with the fourth season of the Ikkitousen anime franchise. Produced by studio ARMS, these episodes continued the studio's long-running adaptation of Yuji Shiozaki's manga, which reinterprets historical figures from the Three Kingdoms period as modern-day high school brawlers. This installment maintains the franchise's hallmark focus on high-octane martial arts, stylized character designs, and the ecchi aesthetic that defined the studio's output during this era.

The production sought to balance the high-stakes narrative arcs of the main series with the character-driven, comedic vignettes common to the bonus specials. Guided by the established house style of studio ARMS, the visual design emphasizes exaggerated physical action and detailed character models. While the series has always remained a niche entry within the action-fan-service genre, it was received by its core audience as a consistent continuation of the franchise's established tone, serving as a dedicated companion piece for those invested in the overarching saga of the Nanyo Academy fighters.
