Yoi Takiguchi has long legs, a deep voice, and a handsome face…in other words, Yoi is such a good-looking guy that most people don’t notice or care that she is, in fact, a girl. Indeed, she’s had the nickname “Prince” for as long as she can remember. That is, until she met Ichimura-senpai…the only person who really seemed to see her for herself. To her surprise, she’s not sure how to handle this new relationship, especially when her newfound friend is a prince himself (and a guy prince, at that). The story of the two high school princes starts here!

Where it came from
In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, produced by East Fish Studio and released in 2026, emerged during a period of experimentation within the contemporary television landscape. Developed as a distinct entry in the studio's catalog, the series was conceived to explore atmospheric storytelling, prioritizing nuanced character development over high-octane narrative progression. Its production was grounded in a deliberate attempt to blend traditional animation techniques with modern digital compositing to achieve a specific, painterly aesthetic that mirrors the titular imagery.
The series was guided by the creative team at East Fish Studio, who focused on a minimalist visual language meant to evoke a sense of quiet introspection. Critics noted the production for its consistent art direction and its refusal to adhere to standard pacing tropes common in its genre. While it occupied a niche position upon release, it garnered respect for its commitment to a singular vision, ultimately finding an audience that appreciated its methodical approach to mood and visual world-building.
