When it shrinks, it expands. It floats and it sinks. It separates but connects. When I think I’m watching them, they're actually watching me. A charming animation rhyme that weaves together the many days of observing, recording, and experimenting.

Where it came from
In the Big Yard Inside the Teeny-Weeny Pocket was released in 2022 as a meditative, experimental short film designed to explore themes of scale and childhood wonder. Produced within an independent studio environment, the project was intended to evoke the sensation of looking at a sprawling, natural world through the perspective of a small, focused lens, emphasizing textures, ambient sound, and the quiet curiosity inherent in early developmental stages.
The film’s visual language was heavily influenced by minimalist cinematography, opting for macro-photography and slow-pacing to distinguish it from the high-energy animation often found in contemporary short-form children's media. While the project received limited mainstream distribution, it gained traction within independent festival circuits and niche education circles, where critics praised its gentle pacing and the deliberate, organic design choices made by the production team to foster a sense of calm engagement.
