Inazuma Eleven: Saikyou Gundan Ogre Shuurai

Inazuma Eleven: Saikyou Gundan Ogre Shuurai, known internationally as Inazuma Eleven: The Movie, was produced by OLM, Inc. and released in Japanese theaters in December 2010. Serving as a companion to the popular video game and anime franchise created by Level-5, the film was designed to capitalize on the series' immense popularity among school-age audiences. The narrative integrates directly into the existing storyline, depicting a high-stakes match between the protagonist's Raimon Junior High team and a formidable group of players sent from the future.

The production sought to expand the scope of the television series through cinematic animation quality and a grander sense of stakes, reflecting Akihiro Hino's vision for the franchise's multimedia expansion. Directed by Katsuhito Akiyama, the film emphasizes the series' signature blend of intense sports action and supernatural abilities. It was well-received by the existing fan base, performing strongly at the box office and reinforcing the franchise's status as a cultural touchstone in Japan during the early 2010s.
