The alien Wulgaru’s last assault against humanity was foiled by the heroic actions of the genetically enhanced humans known as the Evolved Children in their advanced AHSMB battle armor, but now a new attack has been launched against Earth under an even deadlier champion, Diorna, created from the fusion of DNA from two Wulgaru Royals.
Unfortunately, Izuru Hitachi, the leader of Team Rabbits who defeated the Wulgaru Royal Jiart, is still out of action and recovering, so the task of marshalling the Majestic Princes and stopping Diorna falls upon the unready shoulders of Toshikazu Asagi. Together with the remaining members of Team Rabbits and the recently created Team Fawn, it’s up to Asagi to hold the line against the most ruthless adversary yet.

Where it came from
Majestic Prince: Genetic Awakening was produced as a direct continuation of the 2013 television series Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince. Released in 2016, the film serves to bridge the narrative gap between the conclusion of the original series and its subsequent web-based sequel. Studio Orange, renowned for their expertise in blending high-quality 3D computer graphics with traditional animation techniques, took the lead in crafting the film's intense mecha combat sequences, which were central to the franchise's visual identity.
The film was directed by Keitaro Motonaga, who aimed to deepen the character dynamics established in the series while raising the stakes for the Team Rabbits pilots. The production was well-received by fans of the original show, praised primarily for maintaining the high production values associated with Orange's animation work and for providing a satisfying, albeit high-octane, resolution to the plot threads left hanging by the televised finale.
