Mashiroiro Symphony: Airi ga Anata no Kanojo ni!?

Mashiroiro Symphony: Airi ga Anata no Kanojo ni!? was released in 2012 as an original video animation (OVA) follow-up to the television series Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers. Produced by Studio Manglobe, the project was designed to expand upon the visual novel source material by focusing specifically on the character Airi Sena, offering fans an alternate conclusion that framed the narrative as a personalized romantic experience. The animation sought to maintain the high aesthetic standards Manglobe established during the original series, emphasizing the soft, pastel-toned art style characteristic of the romantic drama genre.

The production was received by the community as a supplemental character study, appreciated primarily by established fans of the series who sought closure or an expansion of the romantic interactions presented in the original broadcast. While the narrative framework was conventional for a visual novel adaptation, the studio's focus on fluid character movement and consistent design language helped cement its place in the early 2010s catalog of slice-of-life anime. It remains a niche entry, reflecting the industry's trend at the time of utilizing bonus episodes to deepen engagement with specific character archetypes.
