MEIKA

Meika is a character from the Japanese franchise Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, specifically appearing as an NPC-style background character within the expanded universe of the series. These types of secondary character figures were produced to complete the world-building of Mitakihara City, often released during the height of the series' cultural impact in the early 2010s to satisfy completionist collectors looking to populate their displays with more than just the primary magical girls.

The design of these figures typically follows the aesthetic direction established by character designer Ume Aoki, known for her distinctive, soft-edged art style. These figures were manufactured to be affordable, accessible counterparts to the high-end scale figures, utilizing molded PVC to capture the subtle, understated costume details of the background characters. They were generally well-received by fans who appreciated the attention to the series' peripheral inhabitants, serving as a testament to the depth of the show's lore.
