Luo Wu Zi helped Li Si Xiu to build the mound of Qin Shi Huang; the first emperor who united China. His disciples continued to build and safeguard the royal tombstone. In between lies the appearance of the Nine Great Tombstones, also known as Great King of the Graves. For thousands of years, the tombs were never robbed. The outsiders regard these guardians of the tombs like the Tomb Sect. After the death of Luo Wu Zi, the position of Grave King is transferred to his eldest disciple, Mu Rong Xiu.

Where it came from
Mu Wang Zhi Wang: Qi Lin Jue, or King of Kings: Kylin Decision, emerged in 2016 as a flagship 3D animated series produced by the Chinese studio Build Dream. The series was developed during a period of rapid expansion in the Chinese domestic animation market, aimed at capturing a maturing audience interested in wuxia fantasy. It centers on the intricate power dynamics and martial arts traditions surrounding the legendary tomb-guarding families, blending high-stakes action with a narrative style deeply rooted in traditional Chinese storytelling tropes.
The production utilized advanced motion capture and character modeling to distinguish its visual identity, reflecting a deliberate effort by Build Dream to elevate the technical standard of local ONA (Original Net Animation) productions. Critics and viewers generally received the series as a visually ambitious project that successfully synthesized traditional genre elements with contemporary digital animation techniques. Its design approach emphasizes elaborate costume detailing and fluid choreography, which have become hallmarks of the studio's broader catalog of work.
