Na Nian Na Tu Naxie Shir 4

Na Nian Na Tu Naxie Shir, often referred to as Year Hare Affair, originated as a webcomic created by the artist Lin Chao, known online as Lin Chao (逆光飞行). The series serves as an allegorical retelling of modern Chinese history, where nations are represented by anthropomorphic animals. This specific installment, the fourth season of the animated adaptation produced by Wind Under the Wings, continues the narrative style established in earlier seasons, focusing on the country's industrial and military development during the mid-20th century.

The animation style is characterized by a simplistic, cute aesthetic that sharply contrasts with the serious geopolitical subject matter it depicts. The series was designed to foster a sense of national pride and historical reflection among younger generations in China. Upon its release, the fourth season received significant attention for its blending of historical education with pop-culture sensibilities, though its overtly patriotic tone and simplified historical interpretations have been a subject of ongoing critical discourse both domestically and abroad.
