Night Shift Nurses: Experiment

Night Shift Nurses: Experiment is a 2005 original video animation produced by the animation studio ARMS. It belongs to a niche genre of adult-oriented Japanese animation characterized by high-concept supernatural or science fiction premises. The production was released during a period when the studio was heavily focused on producing mature-themed content, relying on the distinctive aesthetic and character design styles that defined their output during the mid-2000s.

The narrative follows the typical tropes of its genre, centering on medical professionals in compromising or fantastical situations. As an OVA, it was designed for direct-to-video distribution, a common format for titles of this nature in Japan that allowed for greater creative flexibility in terms of content compared to standard television broadcasts. While the production is relatively obscure outside of specific circles, it stands as a representative example of the studio's technical approach to animation during this era.
