Three five-minute stop-motion animated shorts by Banpresto that recreate the famous scenes from Eiichiro Oda's manga and anime One Piece.
Unlike most figures, Banpresto's "Cry heart" figures are deliberately designed to encourage people to create their own stop-motion shorts.

Where it came from
The Cry Heart series, released in 2014 by Banpresto, serves as a poignant exploration of character dynamics within the One Piece narrative, specifically focusing on the emotional crescendo of the Marineford arc. These figures were crafted to capture fleeting, high-intensity moments of human connection and sacrifice, moving away from typical action-oriented poses to emphasize the series' deeper thematic weight regarding grief and loyalty.
Designed with a focus on evocative sculpting, the figures in this line often feature delicate proportions and expressive facial detailing meant to mirror Eiichiro Oda’s shift toward darker, more character-driven storytelling during the mid-series peaks. The collection was well-received by fans for successfully translating manga-style emotional vulnerability into a three-dimensional format, standing out among more standard merchandise as a deliberate tribute to the story's most significant character losses.
