Where it came from
Parasite is a high-concept interactive music video and digital experience created by the studio OTOIRO, featuring the musical stylings of the artist Eve. Released in the digital landscape of the early 2020s, the work emerged as part of a trend in Japanese multimedia production where music, animation, and interactive game mechanics converge to create a seamless immersive narrative.
The design of the project is noted for its fluid integration of hand-drawn aesthetic elements with digital interactivity, reflecting OTOIRO's signature approach to visual storytelling. The studio sought to push the boundaries of how fans experience music by turning passive listening into an active, exploratory process.
