Peaceful Times (F02) Petit Film

Peaceful Times (F02) is a commemorative 35mm film strip produced by Studio Khara, derived from the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. These collectible film strips were created as limited-run theater gifts, specifically for attendees of the theatrical runs of the later films in the series. They serve as a tangible artifact of the production process, capturing a single frame of the hand-drawn or digital animation cells that comprise the finished cinematic work.

The design of these strips centers on capturing the ephemeral nature of animation production, allowing fans to own an authentic piece of the film's physical celluloid. Produced under the direction of Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara, the inclusion of these strips reflects the studio's commitment to engaging the Evangelion fanbase through unique, high-quality ephemera that bridges the gap between digital cinema and traditional physical media. They were received with significant enthusiasm by collectors, who prize them for the varying rarity of the frames depicted.
