Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Smart Dodging

Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Smart Dodging was produced as part of the long-running Chinese animated franchise Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, which debuted in 2005. Developed by Creative Power Entertaining, the series was designed to appeal to children through slapstick comedy and the recurring conflict between a group of anthropomorphic goats and two wolves who consistently fail to capture them. This specific entry continued the series' tradition of promoting themes of cleverness and cooperation in the face of adversity.

The series design is characterized by its bright, high-contrast aesthetic and clear character archetypes, which were intended to be instantly recognizable to a young audience. The creative team aimed to maintain the established dynamic of the original show while introducing varied scenarios to keep the narrative fresh. Upon release, the franchise became a cultural phenomenon across China, celebrated for its dominance in domestic animation markets and its influence on contemporary children's television programming.
