Where it came from
Rendez-vous with you originated as a student film project produced at Tama Art University. The work reflects the experimental and artistic climate of the institution's film program, which emphasizes personal expression and visual storytelling over traditional commercial constraints.
The film was crafted within the context of university-level independent filmmaking, where students explore narrative structure and aesthetic innovation. As a localized academic production, its design and execution were driven by the filmmaker's individual vision, resulting in a project that serves as a representative example of student-led cinema emerging from Japan's prominent art education landscape.
