This story not only depicts the daily lives of the Great Wall Guards and the Protectorate, but also showcases life in the Cloud Desert from the perspectives of characters from different factions. Whether it's the Great Wall Guards stationed on the frontier, the caravans robbing the rich to help the poor, the ancient people whose hometowns have been desolate for centuries, or the down-on-his-luck prince wandering far from home, everyone has their own territory to protect—to safeguard peaceful lives, to protect each other's dreams, to protect lost cultures, to protect the people of their homeland…
While one person's strength may be limited, their shared belief in protecting each other makes them invincible. It is this belief that allows these originally strangers to appreciate and cherish each other, gaining a "precious treasure" that transcends material possessions.

Where it came from
Shi Wang Zhe A? 2, or Is It a Zombie? 2, is the second season of the animated adaptation of the Japanese light novel series written by Shinichi Kimura. Produced by Studio Deen and animated by Lingsanwu Animation, the series follows the comedic and supernatural adventures of Ayumu Aikawa, a high school student resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer. The second season, officially titled Is This a Zombie? of the Dead, continued the blend of harem tropes, absurdist humor, and action that defined the franchise's unique appeal in the early 2010s.
The production team focused on maintaining the frenetic pacing and stylistic visual gags that characterized the first season. By incorporating elements of mahou shoujo, or magical girl tropes, the creative team sought to parody common anime archetypes while establishing a distinct, irreverent tone. The series was met with a polarized reception; while some viewers appreciated its commitment to genre-bending absurdity, others found the narrative disjointed, a common critique of light novel adaptations that struggle to balance comedy with overarching supernatural plots.
