Where it came from
Shiawase nara Niku wo Morou! The Animation was released in 2021 as a promotional ONA produced by Studio Media Notes. Created as an animated tie-in for a retail meat campaign, the project serves as a lighthearted example of the Japanese tradition of corporate-sponsored short-form animation, where brands utilize character-driven narratives to cultivate public engagement and consumer loyalty.
The design of the animation emphasizes a vibrant, accessible aesthetic common to contemporary commercial shorts intended for digital consumption. The production team focused on a cheerful, high-energy visual style to align with the upbeat nature of the promotional messaging. While primarily functional in its intent as a marketing vehicle, it garnered moderate attention within niche online communities for its specific brand of whimsical, niche-market storytelling.
