Where it came from
Shiranai Koto Shiritai no? The Animation, released in 2025, represents a contemporary entry in the adult animation market produced by the studio Pink Pineapple. The work is categorized as an original video animation (OVA) and is adapted from the established manga source material of the same name. Its production follows the studio's long-standing tradition of adapting popular niche erotic manga into short-form animated features, focusing on character-driven narratives within the specific stylistic conventions of the genre.
The animation reflects the aesthetic sensibilities common to modern Pink Pineapple productions, which prioritize high-contrast character designs and digital coloring techniques typical of current industry standards in independent anime. As an adaptation, the project aims to translate the manga's visual paneling into a dynamic sequence of movements, maintaining the original artist's design motifs. Upon release, the title served to cater to the studio's dedicated base of collectors who track these specialized animated adaptations.
