Naoto and his lover Miyuki were going to ski resort. However, their bus was stalled in blizzard. The passengers were helped by Natsuyo, a landlady of a Japanese style hotel, and they decided to stay at the hotel for a while. At that night, Naoto and Miyuki made love at the hotel over and over, but he couldn’t be satisfied, and finally he began to love Natsuyo. The situation was the same with other passengers. In this closed space, ritual and accidents continued… A bizarre and erotic story was just begun…

Where it came from
Soushitsukyou, released in 2004 by the Milky Animation Label, emerged during a period when the adult animation industry in Japan was increasingly experimenting with darker, more psychological narratives. As an original video animation, it was produced to cater to a niche audience seeking character-driven stories that stepped away from conventional tropes, often prioritizing atmospheric tension and a distinct visual aesthetic characteristic of early 2000s independent studio productions.
The visual direction and design choices reflect the resourcefulness of the era, focusing on stark character designs and deliberate pacing to establish a sense of unease. While the studio was not a major powerhouse, the production is recognized by enthusiasts of the medium for its commitment to a specific tone and style. Upon its release, it was received primarily within the subculture of dedicated animation collectors, serving as a period piece that illustrates the experimental nature of the mid-2000s independent animation scene.
