Strike the Blood IV

Strike the Blood IV was released as an original video animation series beginning in 2020, serving as a direct continuation of the long-running light novel adaptation. Produced by studio CONNECT, the series follows the established narrative arc involving Kojo Akatsuki and the various mystical threats surrounding Itogami Island. This installment was crafted to maintain the franchise's signature blend of high-stakes supernatural combat and school-life elements that had built a dedicated following over the previous decade.

The production sought to uphold the visual identity established in earlier seasons, focusing on the intricate character designs and dynamic action sequences that define the series. As an OVA format, Strike the Blood IV allowed for a more focused episodic release schedule, which was well-received by the established fanbase who had come to appreciate the consistent tone and development of the core cast members across the various arcs.
