Tennis no Ouji-sama: TV Anime-ban Pairpuri DVD

The Pairpuri DVD series was released in 2010 as a specialized companion to the long-running Prince of Tennis franchise, specifically focusing on the expanded character profiles and personal dynamics established during the anime's tenure. Produced by Production I.G, these releases were designed to offer fans deeper insight into the various character pairings that defined the series' narrative, serving as a commemorative look back at the development of the show's massive ensemble cast.

The design of the Pairpuri series leans heavily into the clean, character-centric aesthetics that defined the later years of the anime's production. By highlighting individual character traits through a modular, pairing-based format, the series provided a structured way to revisit iconic matches and interpersonal moments. Upon its release, it was well-received by the dedicated Prince of Tennis fanbase for its effort to synthesize years of character lore into a structured, collectible format.
