Lynn's world changes drastically when she encounters "Arne", a vampire who is called "the worst" in the city. And tonight, a new "murder case" has occurred. What is the truth behind the bizarre incidents that take place in a world where humanity and the bizarre intersect?

Where it came from
The Case Book of Arne is an anime television series produced by the studio SILVER LINK., adapted from the mystery adventure game of the same name developed by Harumurasaki. Following its announcement and subsequent production, the series was slated for a 2026 release, aiming to translate the game's unique gothic atmosphere and investigative narrative into an episodic format. The project represents a broader trend in the animation industry of adapting indie horror-mystery visual novels for television, leveraging the source material's established cult following.
In terms of design and aesthetic, the series seeks to replicate the macabre, fairy-tale-inspired visuals that defined the original game. The studio focused on capturing the dynamic between the young girl, Arne, and the mysterious vampire detective, Lynn Raines. By emphasizing the contrast between the dark, ornate environments and the character designs, the production team intended to evoke a classic mystery tone while maintaining the tension required for the suspense-heavy source material. As a 2026 production, it reflects the studio's ongoing commitment to adapting interactive media through detailed character-driven animation.
