Where it came from
The Demon Girl Next Door Minis were released in 2019 by Studio AQUA ARIS to accompany the debut of the television anime adaptation of Izumo Ito’s manga series, The Demon Girl Next Door. These small-scale figures were designed to capture the comedic interplay between the show's protagonists, Yuko Yoshida and Momo Chiyoda, focusing on the series' signature blend of slice-of-life charm and supernatural tropes.
The character designs were crafted to emphasize the whimsical aesthetic of the source material, utilizing a compact, stylized approach typical of high-quality anime merchandise. Upon their release, the minis were well-received by fans of the series for their accurate depiction of the characters' dynamic and their expressive, personality-driven poses, cementing them as a popular collectible within the broader J.C.Staff-produced franchise ecosystem.
