Following Gutsy Galaxy Guard`s victory over the Zonder Empire and the 31 Primevals, a new threat makes their appearance on Earth. GGG - with Guy Shishio and the newly-constructed GaoFighGar - team up with their French counterpart Chasseur to battle the evil organization BioNet. Among Chasseur`s ranks is Renais Cardiff Shishioh - a former BioNet cyborg with the relentless pursuit of destroying those who took away her humanity. But as GGG and Chasseur fight the BioNet, GGG`s bases around the world are suddenly attacked, and the recently-discovered "Q-Parts" and the original Gao Machines are stolen by Mamoru Amami, who has been abducted and cloned by an even greater threat known as the "Eleven Kings of Sol." Evicted from Earth by the United Nations, GGG must now travel to the far reaches of the galaxy to battle the Eleven Kings of Sol and save Mamoru before it`s too late.

Where it came from
The King of Braves: GaoGaiGar Final was released as an eight-episode original video animation series beginning in 2000, serving as the direct sequel to the 1997 television series The King of Braves: GaoGaiGar. Produced by Sunrise and directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani, the series was designed to conclude the narrative arcs established in the original show while elevating the high-octane mecha action for a mature home-video audience. It remains a hallmark of the late 1990s and early 2000s super robot genre, noted for its complex character dynamics and ambitious animation sequences.
The visual identity of the project was heavily influenced by character designer Takahiro Kimura, whose work helped define the sharp, heroic aesthetic of the Brave series. The production aimed to push the technical limits of traditional cel animation and early digital compositing to depict the franchise's signature 'Goldion Hammer' maneuvers and intense robotic combat. Upon release, the series was well-regarded by fans of the genre for its emotional resonance and high production values, solidifying its place in the history of Sunrise’s long-running Brave franchise.
