The story happened twenty years before the events of "Youths and the Golden Coffin". Baili Dongjun, who later became the number one in the world, was still the only grandson of Zhenxihou's mansion who was loved by thousands of people. Even though his father has peerless kung fu and his mother is the daughter of the head of the Wen family, he is not good at martial arts and prefers to brew wine.

Where it came from
The Young Brewmaster's Adventure, also known as Shao Nian Bai Ma Zui Chun Feng, is a prominent Chinese original net animation (ONA) produced by CG Year. Released as a prequel to the highly successful The Blood of Youth, the series was developed to expand upon the backstory of the elder generation of characters within the franchise's wuxia universe. It was crafted to capture the high-stakes, martial arts-infused atmosphere that resonated with fans of the original series while establishing its own distinct identity through a youthful, adventure-focused narrative.
The animation showcases CG Year's signature 3D aesthetic, which prioritizes fluid combat choreography and intricate character modeling. By focusing on the formative years of key figures like Baili Dongjun, the creators aimed to blend traditional genre tropes with a more modern, fast-paced pacing suited for digital streaming platforms. The project was generally well-received by audiences for its technical ambition and its ability to provide meaningful context to the broader franchise lore, successfully maintaining the visual continuity established by its predecessor.
