Where it came from
Released in 2025 by Polygon Pictures, TRUST serves as a modern entry in the studio's long-standing portfolio of high-fidelity digital animation. As an original net animation, it reflects the studio's strategic shift toward lean, high-concept digital storytelling tailored for global streaming audiences. The project builds upon the studio's technical expertise in cel-shaded CGI, which has become their signature aesthetic since their work on Knights of Sidonia.
The creative direction for TRUST emphasizes architectural precision and fluid character movement, hallmarks of Polygon's collaborative design process. The studio aimed to bridge the gap between traditional hand-drawn anime styles and modern motion-capture technology. Upon its debut, the title was noted by industry observers for its polished technical execution, confirming Polygon Pictures' position as a primary studio for pushing the boundaries of digital production in the current animation landscape.
