Untitled World

Untitled World is a promotional animated short film released in 2021 by Yostar Pictures to commemorate the first anniversary of the global release of the mobile game Arknights. The film was commissioned to expand upon the game's post-apocalyptic narrative, providing a visual representation of the setting's aesthetic and thematic gravity. By focusing on high-fidelity animation, the project sought to bridge the gap between the game's strategic gameplay and its established lore.

The production was guided by the artistic direction typical of Yostar Pictures, emphasizing a somber, industrial tone that defines the world of Terra. The design work focused on translating the game's character archetypes into a fluid, cinematic medium, utilizing a muted color palette to reflect the harsh environments depicted in the source material. Upon its release, the short was well-received by the game's dedicated community for its technical quality and its ability to capture the atmospheric essence of the franchise without relying on traditional gameplay mechanics.
