Utano☆Princesama Maji LOVE ST☆RISH Tours

Utano☆Princesama Maji LOVE ST☆RISH Tours was released in 2022 as a feature-length concert film starring the fictional idol group ST☆RISH. Produced by A-1 Pictures, the project serves as a continuation of the long-running Uta no Prince-sama multimedia franchise, which began as a visual novel series. The film was developed to provide fans with a high-fidelity, fully realized live performance experience, emphasizing concert-style choreography and stage production values that expand upon the musical storytelling established in previous television series.

The animation and direction team at A-1 Pictures focused on integrating 3D computer graphics with traditional character design to mimic a genuine stadium concert atmosphere. By leaning into the 'live tour' concept, the production sought to bridge the gap between the audience and the idol characters, prioritizing elaborate lighting effects and synchronized performances. The film received a warm reception from the established fan base, noted for its emphasis on spectacle and its role in maintaining the narrative continuity of the ST☆RISH members' careers within the franchise.
