Meet mysterious Miharu, awesome Aya, ruthless Ryoko, mind-blowing Misty, youthful Yukari and heavenly Hikary in a stunning series of computer-generated femininity.
In Super Sonic Jet Girl, you'll enter a hellish nightclub where lingerie-clad Miharu defends herself in a most personal fashion. Chat places the longingly lovely Aya on the streets of your dreams. In Run & Run, Yukari breathes hard and races fast - to nowhere. A Jellyfish Day finds the blonde bombshell Hikary starring in a music video about her private passions. Ryoko inhabits Yamag's Garage, an arena of "Pure Mind," "Love," and a very "Beautiful Face." And Misty mesmerizes in a music video in which she brags: "I'm your magnet of love, and I'm here to serve you."

Where it came from
Released at the turn of the millennium, Virtual Star 2000 emerged during a period of intense fascination with digital personas and the fusion of cyberspace aesthetics with traditional anime tropes. Produced as an original video animation, it was conceived as a lighthearted exploration of the burgeoning internet culture of the late 1990s, aiming to capture the anxieties and excitement surrounding the accessibility of early online communities and virtual idols.
The character designs were crafted to embody the glossy, futuristic trends characteristic of the era's animation style, favoring vibrant color palettes and streamlined, tech-inspired fashion. While it was marketed as a standalone narrative experience for enthusiasts of the burgeoning digital-life genre, the title remains a niche historical artifact that reflects the aesthetic optimism and technological speculation prevalent in the Japanese animation industry at the start of the 21st century.
