Wangzhe Rongyao: Rongyao Zhi Zhang - Mingyun Pian

Wangzhe Rongyao: Rongyao Zhi Zhang - Mingyun Pian is a cinematic short produced by Original Force as part of the broader multimedia expansion of the Honor of Kings franchise. Released to deepen the narrative lore surrounding the game’s central characters, the short employs high-fidelity 3D animation to explore themes of destiny and heroism within the game's fantasy universe. It was commissioned by Tencent to serve both as a promotional vehicle and as a cornerstone for the growing cinematic identity of the intellectual property.

The visual direction focuses on integrating the game's recognizable character designs with fluid, cinematic choreography that bridges the gap between interactive gameplay and linear storytelling. Original Force utilized their established expertise in digital animation to translate the stylized, legendary aesthetic of the game into a more grounded, dramatic format. Upon its release, the project was well-received by the player community for its technical quality and its success in providing a cohesive visual context for the game’s complex character backstories.
