A special program of Warau Salesman, these episodes were released in a blast format on 3 days in a nearly 2 hour long timeslot each. The individual episodes have their own OPs. The first blast release differed from the main series by having live-action footage of real locations in Japan before delving into the story for each episode. The 2nd had Moguro with the Master interacting with the viewer as if behind the scenes for a studio before delving into each episode. And the 3rd had Moguro and the Master playing outside in the snow as if reporting on an on-location event to the viewer before delving into each episode.

Where it came from
Warau Salesman Tokubetsu Bangumi is a special broadcast linked to the celebrated dark comedy anime series created by Motoo Abiko, better known as half of the duo Fujiko Fujio. The series centers on Fukuzo Moguro, a mysterious salesman who offers to fulfill the suppressed desires of his clients, only to lead them toward ironic, often tragic ruin when they fail to adhere to his specific conditions. Produced by Shin-Ei Animation, this special served to extend the reach of the franchise, which gained significant cultural traction for its subversion of the typical upbeat television tropes of the era.
The character design reflects the minimalist, eerie aesthetic characteristic of Abiko’s solo work during the late 1960s and 1980s. Moguro’s stark appearance—characterized by a permanent, unsettling grin and wide, piercing eyes—was intentionally crafted to contrast with the mundane, modern corporate backdrop of his targets. The special was received as a continuation of this cynical social commentary, reinforcing the character's status as a quintessential figure in Japanese psychological horror-comedy, and it solidified the series' reputation for exploring the darker impulses of the Japanese salaryman archetype.
