Welcome to Irabu's Office, titled Kuuchuu Buranko in Japanese, was produced by Toei Animation as part of the late-night Noitamina block in 2009. The series is based on the short story collection by Hideo Okuda and centers on the eccentric psychiatrist Ichirou Irabu, who treats a variety of patients struggling with modern psychological neuroses. It was directed by Kenji Nakamura, who sought to capture the surreal and chaotic nature of mental distress through experimental animation techniques.

The series is noted for its distinctive visual style, which incorporates live-action footage, mixed media, and highly saturated, kaleidoscopic color palettes. This avant-garde approach was intended to reflect the fractured perspective of the patients.
