Where it came from
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 3 was produced by Bandai Namco Pictures and released in 2022 as a continuation of the popular fantasy-comedy anime series based on the manga by Osamu Nishi. The third season adapts the Harvest Festival arc, shifting the narrative focus toward the trials of the Misfit Class as they compete to reach higher ranks in the demon hierarchy. The production sought to maintain the vibrant, high-energy aesthetic established in the previous seasons while elevating the animation quality to support the series' expanded scale and action-oriented sequences.
The series is noted for its blend of lighthearted school-life tropes and supernatural world-building, which earned it a dedicated following upon its debut. The direction aimed to emphasize character development, particularly for Iruma Suzuki as he navigates the complex social structure of Babyls Demon School. Critics and viewers generally praised the season for its faithful adaptation of the source material's heart and humor, cementing the series as a significant entry in the shonen fantasy genre.
