Wonder Beat Daisakusen Profile

Wonder Beat Scramble, known in Japan as Wonder Beat Daisakusen, was a 1986 science fiction anime series produced by Mushi Production. The series was designed to be educational, focusing on the biological functions of the human body as seen through the perspective of a miniaturized crew navigating the bloodstream, reflecting the era's fascination with science-based children's programming and the influence of earlier works like Fantastic Voyage. The character designs were handled by the legendary Osamu Tezuka, whose signature style imbued the show with a distinct visual identity that bridged the gap between adventure narrative and anatomy lesson.

The Wonder Beat Daisakusen Profile serves as a supplemental document or visual reference set produced to coincide with the series' release. It was intended for fans to gain deeper insight into the technical specifications of the crew's ship, the Wonder Beat, and the specific physiological environments portrayed in the show. Because the series aimed to simplify complex biological processes, these profiles were crafted to maintain continuity and provide structural context to the internal world of the human body that the protagonists inhabited. While the series maintains a niche status today, these profiles are regarded as essential archival materials for followers of Tezuka’s later animation projects.
