Original film by Kakeru Mizui, featuring music from Masato Abe.
"An old book" was written by a writer, and was read by many people. The interpretation of the intention of the writer and readers of this book, is just like "life." I created this work with a theme about "words lives are close and open," which represents the concept of life and regeneration."

Where it came from
Wormy, released in 1957, is a notable entry in the educational film genre produced by Coronet Instructional Films. It was created as a biology supplement for elementary and middle school classrooms, designed to teach students about the life cycle of a worm and its environmental role through macro photography and simplified narration common to the era's mid-century pedagogical style.
The film is widely recognized today for its unsettling, surreal aesthetic, which inadvertently made it a cult classic among fans of public domain cinema. While it was originally intended as a straightforward nature study, its minimalist production and stark visual approach have led to its enduring status as an example of the vintage instructional media aesthetic.
