Xing You Ji: Fengbao Famila

Xing You Ji: Fengbao Famila, known in English as Star Voyage: Storm Familia, was released as a Chinese original net animation (ONA) produced by Coloroom Pictures. Emerging during a period of rapid expansion for the Chinese animation industry, the series was designed to appeal to younger demographics by blending science fiction tropes with character-driven action. It serves as an entry point for viewers interested in domestic space-fantasy narratives, reflecting the studio's ambition to cultivate original intellectual property within the streaming landscape.

The visual direction of the series leans into vibrant, digital-first aesthetics intended for optimized viewing on mobile and web platforms. By utilizing high-contrast color palettes and fast-paced editing, the production team aimed to establish a dynamic rhythm that distinguishes the series from traditional long-form television animation. While received as a niche experiment in high-concept episodic storytelling, it remains a notable example of the studio's efforts to integrate localized cultural themes into the broader science fiction genre.
