Xing Wu Shen Jue 2

Xing Wu Shen Jue 2, also known as Star Martial God Technique, serves as the second season of a prominent 3D-animated series produced by the Chinese streaming platform iQIYI. Adapted from a popular web novel, the series follows the journey of Ye Xinghe as he navigates a world of martial arts and celestial powers. This production emerged during a period of rapid expansion for Chinese domestic animation, often referred to as donghua, where platforms like iQIYI invested heavily in serialized ONA formats to retain subscribers and compete with traditional television.

The animation reflects the aesthetic trends common in mid-to-late 2010s Chinese 3D fantasy productions, prioritizing high-octane action sequences and stylized character designs to mirror the source material's martial arts focus. While the series achieved a consistent viewership among fans of the xianxia and fantasy genres, it is categorized as a commercial production intended for platform-exclusive streaming. Its reception was largely defined by its accessibility to genre enthusiasts who favored fast-paced, episodic storytelling over the longer, more complex arcs found in traditional broadcast animation.
