Xiong Chumo: Chunri Dui Dui Peng

Xiong Chumo: Chunri Dui Dui Peng, known in English as Boonie Cubs: Spring Into Action, is a television series produced by the Chinese animation studio Fantawild Animation. It serves as a spin-off to the widely popular Boonie Bears franchise, which began in 2012. This particular iteration was developed to pivot the focus of the intellectual property toward a younger, preschool-aged audience, emphasizing lighthearted, educational, and social-emotional themes rather than the slapstick competition found in the original series.

The character designs for the series were handled by Fantawild's in-house creative team, who opted for a stylized, softer aesthetic to make the familiar characters more approachable for young viewers. The series maintains the high-quality 3D computer-generated animation standard that has become a hallmark of the studio. Upon its release, the show was well-received within the Chinese domestic market for its accessibility and its success in expanding the franchise's demographic reach while retaining the recognizable visual identity of the Boonie Bears universe.
