Yume wo Nusumu Gang-tachi

Yume wo Nusumu Gang-tachi, or The Dream-Stealing Gang, is a television feature produced by NHK, Japan's national broadcaster. It emerged from the network's commitment to producing high-quality, experimental, or narrative-driven programming that often leans into the surrealist or psychological depths characteristic of Japanese televised storytelling in the late twentieth century.

The production reflects the stylistic tendencies of NHK's drama and variety units from the era, which often prioritized atmospheric world-building and character-focused narratives. While the specific creative team and critical reception remain niche within international databases, the work is representative of the studio's broader efforts to translate complex, imaginative themes into the visual language of public broadcast television.
