African Pygmy-Goose

The African pygmy-goose, scientifically classified as Nettapus auritus, is a member of the Anatidae family native to sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar. Unlike typical geese, this species belongs to the perching duck group, characterized by its remarkably diminutive size—often considered one of the smallest waterfowl species in the world.
