Black-chested Jay

The Black-chested Jay (Cyanocorax affinis) is a distinctive member of the Corvidae family native to the humid forests of Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela. First described by the French naturalist Auguste de Saint-Hilaire in 1839, the species is categorized by its broad, robust wings and rounded tail, physical traits that facilitate its maneuverability through dense canopy layers.
