Gola Malimbe

The Gola Malimbe, scientifically classified as Malimbus ballmanni, is an elusive passerine bird belonging to the Ploceidae family. It was first described by ornithologists in the mid-20th century, emerging from the dense, fragmented rainforests of West Africa, specifically within the Gola Forest of Sierra Leone and parts of Liberia.
