Grand Munia

The Grand Munia, or Lonchura grandis, is a species of estrildid finch native to the grasslands and wetlands of New Guinea. Ornithologically categorized in the late 19th century, it was defined by its distinct coloration—a dark, chocolate-brown plumage accented by a silver-grey bill and rump.
