Spot-winged Antshrike

The Spot-winged Antshrike, Pygiptila stellaris, is a species native to the Amazon basin, primarily residing in the mid-story of humid tropical forests. Unlike many of its relatives in the Thamnophilidae family, it is the sole representative of its genus, characterized by its distinctive rounded wings and notched tail.
