Upland Goose

The Upland Goose, known scientifically as Chloephaga picta, is native to the southern regions of South America, particularly Patagonia and the Falkland Islands. Historically described by naturalists in the 19th century, the species evolved as a grazer, adapting to the open grasslands where its broad wings allow for powerful, sustained flight across vast, windswept plains.
