Arne Carlos Easter Knits

Arne & Carlos, the design duo of Arne Nerjordet and Carlos Zachrison, published 'Easter Knits' in 2012 as a seasonal follow-up to their highly successful debut book on Scandinavian-inspired knitting. Based in Norway, the pair drew heavily upon their signature aesthetic, which blends traditional Nordic motifs with whimsical, contemporary flair. The book was developed to provide knitters with intricate, decorative patterns suitable for the spring holidays, focusing on items like knit eggs and bunnies that showcase the designers' penchant for meticulous detail and colorwork.

The publication arrived during a period of renewed global interest in heritage knitting techniques, particularly the 'Norwegian knit' style that the authors helped popularize in the early 2010s. Search Press Ltd brought the collection to an international audience, and the book was well-received for its clear instructions and high-quality photography, which emphasized the cozy, artisanal atmosphere that became the hallmark of the Arne & Carlos brand. It is considered a staple for fans of the duo’s pattern-heavy, narrative-driven approach to craft book publishing.
