Dimostrazione, argomentazione dialettica e argomentazione retorica nel pensiero antico

This volume serves as the formal proceedings of a scholarly conference held in 1990 at Bocca di Magra, Italy. The gathering brought together specialists in ancient philosophy to explore the nuanced distinctions between demonstration, dialectical argumentation, and rhetorical strategy as understood by classical thinkers. Published by Sagep in 1993, the text captures the intellectual climate of early 1990s Italian academia, reflecting a rigorous commitment to historical philology and the structural analysis of Greek logic.

The editorial intent behind the collection was to consolidate contemporary academic discourse surrounding the Aristotelian and post-Aristotelian traditions of discourse. By preserving the rigorous exchanges of the participants, the work offers a structured look at how classical Mediterranean thought shaped European intellectual foundations. It remains a specialized resource, favored by researchers focused on the evolution of rhetoric and the history of philosophical methodology.
