Dreams Are Ten A Penny (Jenny Jenny)

Dreams Are Ten A Penny was originally a notable success for the British singer Kincade, released in 1972 as a melodic soft-pop track that climbed the international charts. The song was penned by John Carter and Ken Lewis, a prolific songwriting duo of the era, and was designed to feature the lush, multi-tracked vocal harmonies that defined Kincade's signature sound. Its production leaned into the polished, orchestral pop aesthetic prevalent in early seventies radio.

The 2005 release featuring L.A. Hope and Kincade emerged during a period of retrospective interest in the artist's discography, often compiled by labels like Coconut to preserve these classic arrangements for digital and physical reissue. While the original track remains a hallmark of 1970s pop production, this specific version serves as a curated inclusion within the broader Coconut label catalog, maintaining the original's harmonic structure and sentimental lyrical themes for a new generation of listeners.
